 OPEN SHELVES COLLECTION
Open Shelves Collection (OSC) is a collection which can be borrowed by
users according to their level or user category. OSC includes books that ranges from A - Z
of Library Of Congress Classification.
Location
This collection located at the reading area at both campuses.
Reservation/ Booking
This collection can be reserved by users ONLY when it has been borrowed
by other users. Reservation can be made at the library counter at both campuses or users
can request directly from the MMU Library WEBOPAC.

REFERENCE COLLECTION
Reference Collection (RC) is a collection which can be referred by
users in the library ONLY. RC includes books, that ranges from A - Z of Library Of Congress Classification. The book's call number
is preceded by a capital R.
e.g. Almanacs, Dictionaries, Directories, Encyclopedias, Handbooks, Who's who, etc.

This collection located at the Reference area at both campuses.
Reservation/ Booking
This collection cannot be reserved by users.
RED-SPOT COLLECTION
Red Spot Collection (RSC) is a collection which can be borrowed for TWO
HOURS and referred by users in the library ONLY. It can be
borrowed for overnight loan after 9.00 p.m. and must be returned before 10.00 a.m.
the next day. RSC includes books, that ranges from A - Z of Library Of Congress Classification. RSC is indicated by a red spot at the spine of the book.
e.g. MMU Theses, MBA Theses, etc.

This collection located at the Library Counter area at both campuses.

This collection cannot be reserved by users.
MULTIMEDIA COLLECTION
Multimedia Collection (MMC) is a collection which can be borrowed by
users according to their level or user category. MMC includes cassettes, VHS tapes,
diskettes, CD-ROMs, DVDs, and LCDs that ranges from A - Z of Library Of Congress Classification.
Location
This collection located at the Media Room at both campuses.
Reservation/ Booking
This collection cannot be reserved by users.
SERIALS (PERIODICALS) COLLECTION
Serials Collection (SC) refers to the periodical publications
purchased and subscribed by MMU Library. Serials collection includes journals,
magazines, bulletins, newsletters, online journals, online databases.
Location
This collection located at the Serials Collection Room at both campuses.
Reservation/ Booking
This collection cannot be reserved by users.
LAW COLLECTION
Law Collections (LC) is a collection which can be referred by users in
the library ONLY. LC includes books from class K of Library
Of Congress Classification.
