Connect from on and off-campus

Access to the licensed resources provided by the Siti Hasmah Digital Library is established by MMU IP address or authentication via SHDL’s OpenAthens (Digital Library Off Campus Access).

Current SHDL members:

If you’re on-campus with an MMU IP address or network, you can go directly to most resources and the publisher will recognize your IP address.
If you’re on-campus and on the “MMU Guest” network, you won’t be able to access most resources due to publisher restrictions. Login to the SHDL’s OpenAthens (Digital Library Off Campus Access) and most resources will recognize your IP address.

Visitors:

To access most licensed resources, you must be on campus and either:

Use one of the library computers provided.
Connect to the MMU network through a wired network jack.

If you have a laptop, you’ll be able to connect to the “MMU Guest” network from on-campus, but you won’t be able to access most licensed resources due to publisher restrictions.
