Training & Workshops
- Any library training or research workshops will be conducted online.
- The library will provide a recording video of the session for students to refer to in the future as a reference guide.

- Library users who wish to know more about library resources, services, and tools, may do so by streaming to library tutorial video series.

Online Reference Chat – Tawk.to
- Distance learners are free to ask any inquiry to our library staff should they need further explanation and assistance.
- The Tawk.to is available at our library portal. The library staff on duty will address the inquiry and respond as soon as possible.
Book2U Service
- Distance learners who wish to borrow books from the MMU library (Cyberjaya/Melaka) shall request via online form.
- The requested book will be delivered to your doorstep using the courier service provider.
- Any postage cost incurred need to be borne by the student.
Online Payment Platform
- Distance learners can make online payment of any outstanding library charges via:
• MMU E-payment
• JomPay
Virtual Library Consultation
SHDL offers virtual reference consultations for distance learners.
• The preferred online meeting platforms are Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
• Our librarian will provide in-person and virtual reference desk services to distance learners who seek access to the Library’s resources.
E-module of Library Literacy
This module will expose students to the type of services, facilities, and resources available in the library.
- To train the user to utilize the library resources effectively with correct methods and strategies.
- Can be accessed anytime from our library portal.

Remote Access to Online Resources
- Access to online resources, such as articles from online journals, databases, and E-books, are available via OpenAthens at the library portal.
- Users can find information on the printed books they wish to borrow from the library OPAC, ELITE.
- The in-house online collections, such as Ph.D. thesis, Masters’s Thesis, and Exam papers, are available on the EREP platform.
